Hi There,We want to find a library or loft-type ladder for getting up into a loft storage area of our new apartment. It doesn't have to be as fancy as the one in he picture, but something that can stay in place and look better than your average carpentry ladder. I looked it up online and they seem very expensive - mostly custom made - especially with the wheels. If anyone has any ideas on where to buy a premade one or someone who makes them in Brooklyn area ,it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks! More»

Anyone heard from carpenter Cortez Williams lately? He seems to have gone missing in action after starting a small job for me back in September. I haven't been able to get him to return my calls or texts. I'm quite surprised as he'd done a small job for me in the past and seemed like a really great guy and an excellent carpenter. I'd love to have him finish my job but can't get him to respond. Anyone have any info?? More»
