simple question I have to replace my range 30" thought in the reno of doing a 36 but its 2000+ for 6" not worth it to me. so now a wolf induction stove or a kitchen aid any thoughts?

IMO, there is no comparison between a Wolf and a Kitchen Aid -- at least as far as gas goes. Wolf wins, hands down. Don't know enough about either product as to how they perform as induction units. But, given what I know generally, I would go with the Wolf.

I would die for a 36-inch stove because you can fit a lot of pans on it at once and it's great for cooking. We can't have one because it doesn't fit in our space. A friend of mine has a 30-inch Viking and it seems to have more room on the top (it has one continuous burner cover) than our $600 General Electric stove. You can get a 36-inch vintage stove for less.

ever looked at Electrolux?
We purchase our gas model (the one with the controls at the front) because of the way the cast iron allows a continuous surface from front to back, love it.
