Need Plans Drawn by a Registered Architect or Licensed Engineer

7:58 PM 01/11/2013

Hi,
We are trying to get financing on a building that has a screwed up C of O (one family + mixed use, likely a mistake way back then) from the 1930's.  There are no plans (or anything else) on file at the DOB.  It's been used exclusively as a single family since the 1890s and I'd like to keep it that way.
To correct the C of O, the DOB says we need to submit an Alt-1, No Work (OT), which I believe requires drawings of the existing plan by a Registered Architect or Licensed Engineer.  Any recommendations?  How much should this cost?  Has anyone out there ever filed an Alt-1 No Work application?  How long did it take?  Thanks many times over.
