I am a veteran interested in purchasing a one bedroom co-op in Downtown Brooklyn. I need to find a  Real Estate agent experienced with VA Loans.

    Hey SL, I went through the process, but I did not use someone who has any experience with VA loans. It seems that this is a rare commodity here in NYC. It might be easier to get a good loan officer who can brush up on the ins and outs of VA loans, rather than trying to find someone who's done VA loans. I may be wrong. Also, be sure that the VA loan is best for you. When I started looking, the VA Loan didn't make financial sense for me, but in the end, when I was ready to buy, it turned out things had changed and so it made more sense to use that, and so I went with it.
