Window Replacement

Hi Everyone -
Hoping for some advice and help....
We are slated to be landmarked but not up yet ...wanted to get our front windows replaced. We have a brownstowne which at one point we will completely re-do the exteriors but given cost that wont be for a bit.
I have called around and have done a little research but still feel pretty in the dark on this.
We need to both purchase and have some install these windows.
Does anyone have recommendations of other trustworthy company or contractor to do this? I have read through the past posts and have already called windows we are.
Any input is appreciated!

    We did ours a few years ago and were happy with the supplier and installers. Frank from S&E Building Supply got us the windows and he used Design Tech to install. Both very professional and easy to work with. We went with Marvins and LePage, both wood historic windows.

    I had 6 wood replacement windows installed by Windows We Are this summer. I was very happy with the quality of the windows ( I chose  the Trimline brand) and by the installation team (Bruno and Hector). Great quality and service. I shopped multiple shops and they had the best price/value equation. I know some posters have had problems with WWA but all of my dealings have been excellent.

    Another vote for Frank from S&E.  Best price for Marvin Ultimates, and most knowledgeable.  My contractor installed.

    i had a horrible experience with Windows We Are...absolutely terrible. They held up my whole job...and instlled the wrong color windows (which now i just 'live with') and a rear door that doesnt stay closed unless i lock it. The only positive part was the measuring...from there it was all downhill so beware. You'll see that all the recos fro them are pretty old and things have changed dramaticlly over the past few years there.
    My neighbor had gorgeous windows put in from Bayridge Windows and that's who i'm calling when we do the rest of our house (and to fix the WWA disaster)

    We have Champion Windows replacement windows in our house. We haven’t had any complaints so far and they were professional to deal with. You can contact them and ask their representative to visit your house for a free estimate. You can also check out Pella and Anderson – gives you more choice and selections to choose from!
