After last year's snowfall, I decided to try and protect my new gutter system on the north side of my house. I bought 30' foot kit on eBay for $20 to try out. My gutter and drainspout ususally fills up with ice. I don't have a problem wih ice dams but have a snow rake for that anyway. It was easy to install and is cheap insurance to keep my new gutters on the fasica board instead of the ground. The I'll post again with some pics if snows.

it is not allowed in NY to both design and install such a constructed solution. better contact me and we can talk, we have lots of people we work with that can get this job done on time and under budget. or contact any of us architects who post here regularly, although i'm not going to mention their names so you contact me.
