Supported Agriculture) based in Boerum Hill is open for enrollment for the 2012
Season. We did the CSA in 2011 and had a really great experience. They have
full (every week) and half (every other week) shares for fruits and vegetables

partnered with Lewis Waite Farm to do supplemental meat that you can order on an
We did a half veggie and half fruit shares as well as eggs last season. We got
a nice variety of both each week and never felt like we were overwhelmed with

Distributions are on Tuesday at the YWCA and run from about 5-8. Members are
required to do some minimal volunteer work during the season--typically work 2,
2 hour shifts at a distribution.
There is much more information on the website: http://www.brooklynbeet.com/ab...br />
If you have any questions about our experience I am happy to try to answer them.
