Pocket Door Hardware / Latch

I have a pocket door to my powder room with the very standard latch pictured here - which is very unreliable in a household with a toddler. Does anyone have suggestions or sources for a better piece of hardware? I could dummy up a slide bolt or even hook and eye but am hoping for a more sophisticated solution. Thanks in advance.
