I am nearing closing on a 1br apartment and have a few small reno jobs to do before moving in. Right now there is coaxial cable for tv running all over the walls and i absolutely hate how it looks, through closets, over doorwasy, etc. Does anyone have recommendations for a skilled handyman who can run cable throughncement walls, or must I find another way like running it through baseboard molding?
I agree with visible cable looking HORRENDOUS! Its something I stress about on all of my jobs. No matter who you choose to help run your coax cable, you may want to consider running other types like Cat5/6 for internet to the TVs. There are plenty of options if you are open to suggestions. Although any handyman can drill a hole through a wall and run a cable, most will not be able to properly advise you on what else is required depending on your current and future needs. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask :)

I agree that running coax cable through walls is difficult. Pulling cat5 is hard enough it being more flexible and somewhat less susceptible to kink damage.
Are you over a basement or under an attic that could be utilized?
