Handyman / GC

I am looking for referrals for someone who is in between a handyman and a general contractor.  I would like to remove a closet and patch the walls and trim after the removal, and build some millwork (bookshelves, cabinets with doors, etc.) around a window.  I would like to stay within a reasonable budget, but want nice quality work.  Any suggestions.
