Video Intercom Installation

Can anyone recommend a reputable installer for a video intercom system / electric door strike on the front of our brownstone?  We spoke with one A/V company that said the job was too small.   Also, does anyone know whether this has to be cleared with Landmarks?

    The more complicated portion of this is the door strike. Any reputable locksmith should be able to handle this. I would recomend an aiphone intercom. They're fairly solid and easy to service and find components for.

    What about Siedle vs Aiphone?  The Siedle unit looks nicer and looks like it would flushmount to the outside.

      For starters the Siedle costs 10x what the aiphone costs. They are also much trickier to install and the domed camera housing is a vandalism magnet. They are the industry standard if you're outfitting the high end client but I can't see any advantage to them other than cosmetic.

    I second the aiphone.  How many units are in the building? (curious because they said the job is too small)
