We bought a 4 story b'stone that basically required a total overhaul and have used a number of contractors for the various projects and we will ONLY use Mike Sheehan after having tried a few out.  He is incredibly nice, works very quickly, will leave your place spotless at the end of each day, his bids came in slightly less than others and most importantly to us is that he is trustworthy - we felt 110% comfortable leaving him with keys to the house and going off to work every day.  I cannot endorse him strongly enough.  Tell him Andrea and Anthony referred you -917-626-1254.

I would call All Renovation Construction, they gut renovated my 3 story brownstone in Windsor Terrace.  I had no prior experience in renovations, especially something large scale with a significant budget.  They came in and gave me extreme confidence with their attitude and their professionalism.  The icing on the cake was their estimate - they were the only contractor that submitted an itemized (in detail) estimate per floor.  This helped with budgeting immensly, also it showed transparency on everything that was to be done (with no surprises).  All in all I had a great experience which I've read is usually not the norm.  You can contact Pietro Calabretta (I worked directly with him) at 718-351-4099 or via their website at http://www.allrenovationllc.co...

I've recommended Richard of Masterpiece Construction here a few times because we had such a great experience with him when he did a major top to bottom overhaul of our home in Ditmas Park a few years ago. He is honest, reliable, reasonably priced and efficient. His work is top notch. Since the renovation, we've actually remained friends with him, believe it or not! His # is 646-645-2300

All Renovation did a good job with my reno.  Check out their website.  They've done many jobs, which is one sign of legitimacy.

We bought a 2 family last year which we fully renovated. We got a recommendation from a family friend who used Baronomo Construction (we interviewed 5 contractors) - Jack is the son of the owner, these guys have been in business a long time, are extremely reliable, fairly priced, fully insured and have great ideas. Text or call Jack any time and he responds.....(which I love) I wholeheartedly recommend him. My parents and cousin also used them for renovations at their houses and have been 100% satisfied.
