We are looking for a new house cleaner to come by every two weeks to help tidy our brownstone. It's a big house so we usually break the day down into a few rooms that roughly equate to a 1 bedroom apartments worth of cleaning.
What is everyone else paying for their cleaning person? Any tips on how to breakdown the workload for a big house?
Thanks!

I am also looking for someone to come in and clean every other week, to our 3 story house in Prospect Heights. If you find someone, would be happy to alternate weeks with you. I've always had someone able to do a good cleaning in a 6 to 6.5 hour workday here....

I pay $150 for someone to come and clean (sweep and mop) the common hallways (3 story) of my brownstone (every 2 weeks) - in addition she also cleans the basement (shared washer / dryer), and sweeps in front of the house. My contact is Eloisa, she is very trustworthy - I've been using her for over 3 years now. You can contact her via her husband who handles her appointments - Julio at 718-781-9904 or email him at bonete.julio@gmail.com

As it happens, I am currently in the process of setting up a cleaning business. I am focusing on houses in the Crown Heights/Prospects Heights area. As an owner of a brownstone, I am aware of the scope of work that needs to be done and am gearing my business towards people who need last minute cleaning, i.e. folks who are finally getting around to spring cleaning, last minute guests, those sort of scenarios. Very trustworthy and reliable. If interested, please email me at kellyk437 at yahoo dot com.

I recommend Cinita Augustus. I pay $90 to have her clean my 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath duplex. 646-377-5240.
She's prompt, does great 'beyond expected' work and has no trouble jumping in to do a few extras to help you out. Dusting, sweeping, mopping, beds, some laundry, straightening up, bathrooms, etc.... results in one very happy house.
