Hi Maxw,
My company All Renovation Construction LLC just finished gut renovating a Manhattan Brownstone (plus penthouse addition) that included recreating the original brownstone stairs from the garden floor to parlor entry which had been removed.   I'm attaching a picture of the brownstone stairs taken today (and BEFORE photo) to show you we also installed the cast steel railings, balusters and post knewels closely matching a period reproduction look and feel.  It is currently white as it is primed to be painted black.  Let me know if we can help you with your project.
