Mortgage Broker Recommendations?

Hi there, 
We're looking to buy our first home and are looking for recommendations for good mortgage brokers.
 
Since it's our first time, we'd like to work with someone who's patient and willing to explain the mortgage process to us.

    Recommended to me on these forums, he has been absolutely amazing in walking me through a remarkably difficult refinance.  Easily the best guy I've worked with in the over 10 years I've owned the house.  Wish I'd known him when I purchased.  

    I've recommended him to friends in the market for a first mortgage and they are quite satisfied with Adam's level of involvement and ability to answer questions.

      I loudly second David's vote. Adam has handled multiple purchases and refinances for me over the years and people like him are rare to come by. He has >20 years experience with underwriting and personally processes everything; so everything is immediate and no waiting for surprises. He is extremely patient and truly enjoys helping others. I do not think where a person is based is really important compared to finding an extremely experienced individual to (figurattively) hold your hand. Plus utilizing a broker who has wholesale relationships with many lenders provides an advantage over one bank. Anyway, can;t say enough good things about Adam Roberts. Definitely give him a call and you will see what I mean. -Angie
