Backyard-Still on a Budget

7:54 PM 01/27/2012

Looking for someone to revamp our backyard.  It is a small rowhouse space currently hosuing a bit of grass, a large deck and side foliage.
We are mostly concerned with turning the bent of the current cement away from our basement doors and proper drainage.  The rest is sort of up for grabs.
The current cedar  deck is lovely although in need of repair and as such, we would like to keep same.
Again, we are not looking for anything fancy here, just something functional and pleasant enough to use during the spring/summer/fall months.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a contractor?

Looked through your website.  You have both MA and NY contacts.  You also have what  I believe to be a French surname.  I think you might be new to NYC but, the fact that you may have French origins (as do I-most notably from Quebec)  makes me want to contact you and so I have, via your website.

OP, redoing the cement so it slopes correctly and reparing a cedar deck are potentially small jobs, not related, and don't necessarily have anything to do with landscaping or gardening. You could use a contractor who does a lot of basement and cement work or an experienced handyman.
